QNC Christmas Break-up and Final Bulimba Creek Catchment Survey, Sunday 13 December 2026 – Minnippi Parklands Porters Paddock Carpark

MEET AT: Stanton Rd West, Porters Paddock.

TIME: 7.30 for 8AM FOR SURVEY; 11 am– 3pm FOR CHRISTMAS PICNIC

BRING — Survey

• Usual protective bushwalking clothing
• Binoculars and phone apps
• Insect repellent
• Plenty of water for summer conditions and snacks
• Tea and coffee-making supplies for after the survey

BRING — Christmas picnic

• Food to share for a picnic lunch
• Your own drinks
• Chairs and a table, if you have one
• A gazebo if you have one.

The third survey in our Bulimba Creek study will be conducted in Minippi Parklands.

Birds, Insects, plants, reptiles, and fungi will be among our surveyed target species. Photos.  BBQs are available.  Please bring a plate to share, savoury or sweet. An esky or cooler will be useful at that time of the year, with BYO drinks, iced water and nibbles. Guests will be welcome.

Please register via the website for one or both events. Note: Please specify in the comments of the registration form what event you will be attending. If attending both annotate the comments field accordingly. You are not required to fill out 2 registration forms to attend both events.
