Walking Plan for the Day: Departing from the Discovery Centre we could aim for the Illaweena Picnic Area for morning tea/lunch (depending on our pace).
BRING: Morning tea/lunch (either at the Illawena St Picnic Area or outside the Discovery Centre), long sleeves and pants suggested but not required, hat, 1-2 L water (can fill up at the Discovery Centre), sunscreen, insect repellent (mosquitoes might be present), binoculars, camera, mobile phone, walking pole/s optional but not required. Due to the warm weather snakes could be present along the tracks so a portable snake kit is also recommended.
