LOCATION
- Border Ranges National Park
Border Ranges National Park is an extensive park of temperate and subtropical rain forest and wet sclerophyll forest. The club visited the park two years ago, but that visit was affected by road and track closures caused by storms. Despite this, much was seen, and participants seemed to have a good time. January sees the rainforest in its finest –steamy, full of leeches, likely raining etc. This should bring out the best of what the forest has to offer as well as those brave enough to venture forth. Come prepared!
A species list from our January 2024 trip can be found here: Border Ranges iNat Obs
Please download the NSW NPWS app or visit the web page to book your campsite. Please also note that participants will need to purchase a Parks Pass. Please register via the form below this listing. This will be a good camp for families if the weather is agreeable. Adults attending this camp must be club members. You can become a member of the club here: Membership
